Dinner of the Australian National Islamic Library
The Canberra Islamic Centre (CIC) will be holding a
Special Fundraising Dinner on Saturday 25th March 06 to raise much needed funds
to complete the construction of the main courtyard. Money raised from the last
fund raising dinner and other sources have been so far used up for the
construction of the courtyard. CIC is currently out of funds to pay large amount
of bills for the labourers and materials associated with the construction which
is currently in progress.
The CIC has embarked on a project to build a dedicated Islamic Centre complex in
the ACT consisting of a main hall, library, museum and offices. The Centre will
also provide for a permanent presence of Muslim activities in the National
Capital. Donations are an investment in the future of Islam in Canberra &
Australia.

Tickets for fund raising dinner are on
Sale for $ 50.00per person. Donate generously or make a pledge for donation. You
can also make donation directly into following CIC account:

All donations $2 and above to the Australian National Islamic
Library are tax deductible and receipts will be issued for all donations for
2005-06 tax return.
There will be auctions and other activities on the
evening.
