H.E. Irfan Shaukat was Chief Guest of Australian & New
Zealand Association of Pakistani Physicians Annual Event in Melbourne

(Sada e Watan News) The Australian & New Zealand Association of Pakistani
Physicians (ANZAPP) held its Annual General Meeting 2025 in Melbourne, bringing
together members and invited guests for an evening of reflection and
transition. The event was honoured by the presence of the newly appointed High
Commissioner for Pakistan to Australia, His Excellency Mr Irfan Shaukat, along
with senior representatives from the medical profession. The conference was
held on 21 Oct- 24 Oct at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre Victoria.
ANZAPP expressed its sincere appreciation to the outgoing President, Dr M.
Shahzad Ashraf, recognising his steady leadership, dedication, and the positive
momentum he helped build across the organisation over the past two years. Dr
Ashraf also extended his gratitude to the founding and senior members of ANZAPP
for their continued guidance, support, and commitment to the association’s
vision. His efforts have contributed to strengthening ANZAPP’s presence and
professionalism across Australia and New Zealand.
The Association also welcomed the incoming President, Dr Iftikhar Shahzad, who
outlined his goals for the upcoming year—focused on enhancing academic
activities, supporting professional development, and continuing ANZAPP’s
mission of representing and uplifting Pakistani physicians in the region.

address, His Excellency Mr Irfan Shaukat commended ANZAPP for its contribution
to healthcare excellence and acknowledged the important role Pakistani
physicians play within Australia and New Zealand. He highlighted the value of
