Janette Howard expresses solidarity over Earthquake
Janette Howard, wife of Australian Prime Minister, called on Begum Sehba Musharraf and expressed Australia’s solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of last month’s earthquake catastrophe. She said the Australian people have been deeply touched by the tragedy which has affected millions of people. “We share the grief of the quake victims and stand with Pakistan in this hour of trial,” she said.
Begum Sehba Musharraf thanked Mrs Howard for Australia’s expression of support in dealing with the tragedy and informed about all-out efforts launched to mitigate the sufferings of quake-afflicted people.
