Justice Javed Buttar suffers heart attack

Justice M Javed Buttar, a judge of the Supreme Court suffered a heart attack in Islamabad on Wednesday 14th February 2007 in the courtroom. He was immediately taken to the Federal Government Services Hospital and was shifted to its CCU. A special team of doctors at the FGSH taking care of Justice Buttar declared him out of danger and allowed him to shift to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology. Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other judges of Supreme Court, including justices Javed Iqbal, Abdul Hameed Dogar, Mian Shakirullah Jan, Syed Saeed Ashhad and Registrar of Supreme Court besides senior court officials visited FGHS to enquire after his health.
