KCA denies any involvement in “KASHMIR SOLIDARITY DAY” held in Canberra and Sydney since 2006 as the Kashmiris do not trust Government of Pakistan or its political leadership after revelation of the following facts:

1.       Government of Pakistan jailed and tortured Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan who made Pakistan an invincible state

2.       Government of Pakistan pocketed US$6.5 billion donated by the international community for reconstruction of AJK after the earthquake of 2005

3.       Government of Pakistan kidnapped the most respected and internationally decorated Pakistani lady Dr Aafia Siddiqui and her daughters from within Pakistan and sold them to United States

4.       Government of Pakistan sold hundreds of innocent Pakistanis to United States @ US$5000 each

5.       Government of Pakistan has engaged Pakistan Army against Northern Pakistanis to (i) weaken the army and to (ii) eliminate resistance against foreign insurgency expected from Afghanistan

Who knows Baluchistan will be next or Kashmir?

Kashmiris did not trust Mushraf nor does it have any trust in the present Pakistani regime.

Let’s not forget what Islamabad is doing in Northern Pakistan for the sake of US Dollars. They are weakening Pakistan Army and slaughtering Pakistanis in the name of fighting terrorism. It is not a fight against terrorism it is a fight against Pakistan and its strategic assets. If the trend didn’t change, Kashmiris will have no option but to rearrange their priorities.

To earn Kashmiri love and trust, Islamabad has to prove it is the custodian of lives and assets of all Pakistanis and it is not serving enemies of Pakistan.

Not long ago Pakistan High Commissioner opened launching of a book titled ‘Australia for Pakistan’. I would love to know who ordered compilation of sensitive information on Pakistanis and for what purpose. I know the information was presented in form of a book to mislead readers. I would also like to know what role Pakistani High Commissioner had in it?

KCA respects those Pakistanis who spare their time to participate in Solidarity Day events held in Canberra and Sydney but please be aware you are not helping Kashmiris. You are helping the corrupt Pakistani regime to strengthen its hold on the country and loot whatever is left by the prior thugs.

Following was the message released through KCA’s official website (www.kashmir-KCA.com) on Kashmir Solidarity Day 2006 and since then KCA has not participated in any protest or gathering:

“5th February 2006 - Kashmir Solidarity Day - 2006
Kashmir Council of Australia observed the solidarity day remembering the victims of earthquake, the destruction and looting of the relief supplies by the local leaders. Shamelessly, the VIPs in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan are fully aware of the looters but are not willing to do anything about them.

KCA’s General Secretary (Mumtaz Mian) spent nearly three months (11/05 to 01/06) in the area and visited Muzaffarabad twice regarding our reconstruction program. During this period not a single item - blanket, quilt, warm clothes, tents etc that were sent from Australia and other countries was witnessed.

There were reports that the food items sent from UK were being sold in the market and that was personally confirmed. Food items, unlike blankets, cannot be stored for longer periods due to limited expiry dates.

Also, no witness to confirm the payment from the Rs12 Billion package could be found. A list of recipients and amount dispersed will be highly appreciated if one could provide us for confirmation.”
