Prominent Indian Kashmirs activist organised a Peaceful Protest Rally at Martin Place Sydney A protest rally was held at Martins Place in the central business district (CBD) of Sydney, NSW, Australia on Sunday 29th August 2010 which was attended by the people of Kashmiri origin & some others living here in Sydney. It was organised to mark the protest against the human rights violations committed by the Indian security forces against the people of Indian occupied Kashmir. The rally was attended by Doctors, IT professionals, businessmen, teachers of the Kashmiri origin and their families. They held Placards & banners with an appeal to the world leaders and human rights organisations urging them to look into the killings of innocent children and help put an end to the misery of the Kashmiri people. Some locals who were passing by were curious to know about the happenings in Kashmir and so were briefed by the attendees of the protest rally.
