Provincial Assembly of Sindh was on an official visit of Australia. He was
invited by the Association of Parliamentary Libraries of Australasia (APLA) for
participating in International Symposium at Parliament House Canberra. After
attending the conference in Canberra he was on a visit of Sydney.
On Thursday, 4th March 2011, Speaker, Mr.Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, visited Citilink
Finance office at 32 Martin Place, Sydney. He was received Mr. Muhammad Asif CEO
Citilink Finance who welcomed him in his office. On this occasion Mr. Hanif
Muqaddam, President,Overseas Pakistan Peoples Party Australia,Mr. Irfan Bhatti,
General Secretary, Pakistan Association of Australia & Khurram Muqaddam of
Hamaray rang were present.
Mr. Asif informed that Citilink Finance is the only Pakistan company dealing in
remittances that has got a AUSTRALIAN FINANCIAL SERVICES LICENSE and no other
company has got this opportunity. He said it is a pride for a Pakistani company
to have this honour in dealing with such a license and offer financial products
such as Worldwide Remittances (Send money anywhere in the world), CTP Green
slips, Donation collection for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, Issuance of
Remittance book (Lot of Incentive from Govt. of Pakistan),Pakistan Visa/
Passport collection fee on behalf of Consulate office for Pakistan in Sydney.
Exchange of Currency notes, Financial planning, Handling of Trade documents
(Import & Export), Western Union products, Himal remit (Special arrangement for
remittance to Nepal).
Citilink is issuing Low price CTP Green Slips for cars, hire cars, trucks,
cranes, vans etc with some conditions for compulsory third party insurance. He
also informed that there is a special rate for car dealers to refer Citilink CTP
Green Slip department for the issuance/renewal of CTP.
Mr. Khuhro was asked many questions by Mr. Asif & Mr. Bhatti about the political
situation in Pakistan that was replied by Mr.Khuhro. He stayed over an hour in
Citilink and was seen off by Mr. Asif and his staff.
