On Sunday 18th September 2005, Mr. Shafiq R. Abdullah Khan Chairman Australian Islamic Cultural Centre arranged a get together Lunch at his Lakemba residence. This function was attended by selected famous leaders of Muslim Community, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia and Attorney General of Australia Honourable Philip Ruddock. Attorney General of Australia Mr. Philip Ruddock appreciated the Muslim Community living in Australia . He said that the Australian government is not against Muslim’s or any other religions. He said that we respect for all people who are settled in this great country and we are expecting responsible behaviour from every citizen of Australia.
