BOMBING IN MARIAT HOTEL ISLAMABAD IN HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE

In history the invaders
usually claimed victory when they conquer capital of the country and tie up the
royals to make them slave or killed them.
Our Royals are already their slaves and they have captured our capital and
blasted several times in the past few months. Is this the victory of the
invaders and we should accept defeat and gave us up to them as slaves or our
great warrior army will do some miracle.
Dear Australian Pakistani community, I am very sad to hear the news that Mariot Hotel Islamabad has been destroyed with a truck load of explosive on Saturday 20 September 2008 in the month of Holy Ramadam and approximately 60 people lost their lives and 200 injured as a result of this blast.
Although these
blasts are not new for the Pakistani people since USA started war against so
called Terrorism in our region. People are angry with the unnecessary presence
of US, NATO lead forces in Afghanistan and now in Pakistan. In the last few
weeks USA has killed several people inside the Pakistani boarders and carried
out military operations inside the sovereign Pakistani boarders. Irony of the
matter is that our democratically government has done nothing accept issuing few
statements against this invasion which has angered the all Pakistanis
particularly our Pashtoon brothers, who are fighting against the foreign
invasion on their land.
Let’s examine here this current situation in the historical perspective:
On 5 July 1977 General Zia ul Haq was brought into power by the same invaders
and asked to generate fundamentalist and jehadis to fight USA and West’s so
called cold war against then USSR. Gen Zia successfully generated extremists and
convinced the relatively simple Afghan Pashtoons that their Islam is in danger
because Late Amin ullah Hafeez (ex president of Afghanistan) and Late Babrak
Karmal (ex President of Afghanistan) is the puppet of then USSR and they are
imposing Communism in Afghanistan, sooner or later all Afghanistan will become a
communist state. Gen Zia and his masters used the same tactic and convince
Pakistani Islamist and Jehadis and portray USSR as the giant who will galloped
Pakistan after Afghanistan and forcibly make every Pakistani communist therefore
a Jihad is necessary. As a result of this smear campaign a large number of naïve
youngsters were recruited and trained to fight USA and West’s cold war on the
name of Islamic Jihad against the Communism and USSR.
Our simple and naïve people failed to understand that our neighbor China whom we
have remarkable and strong friendship is also a communist state, China never
asked us to be communist. We are enjoying remarkable friendly relations with
them since freedom. My fellow countrymen this war was a part of the grand plan
which enforces the supremacy of the capitalist in the world which our lords of
that time could not understand or deliberately ignored to make our space in the
new world order.
I have heard these days many of us saying that: the USA wishes to control
Pakistan Nuclear that’s why all this is happening. If this is true then
I left with no other choice but to ask this question that “why the USA allowed
us to have Nuke on the first place”.
Was that a lollypop given to us to keep fighting their cold war in Afghanistan
against the USSR until they take their revenge of Vietnam? Or
Detract our then zamata Amir al Momineen Zia’s attentions not to ask for waiver
of Hugh debts of the country. I leave up to you to decide whether having Nuke
and burden of unplayable debts is good idea or having one of these.
In order to defeat USSR our democratic institutions were destroyed by them, Late
Bhutto was hanged, elections were held on non political basis as a result
“Brathary ism” cast favourism was flourished which we are unable to control
until to date which is keep undermining our true democratic system.
The Political parties before distributing their tickets look for majority of the
Brathary settled in the constituencies, as a result a real worker is unable to
move on to the high level of the politics to serve the nation and Bratahry’s
influenced on the policies of the major political parties.
By fighting someone else’s war to save our Islam from communism we stuck into
another war. With the will of almighty we defeated the Communism but the
capitalist came into our country to destroy our Islam. They want the Islam to be
practiced which suites them not what Allah subhana tallah has given to us.
My friends and fellows, we may need another war to save our country and Islam
from these invaders. But we have to determine how we have to fight this time. We
should remain relevant and intact to compete in the modern civilized world. We
can’t afford to keep blasting humanity and innocents for longer. I think most
needed element to fight in this war would be refining our character as an
individual and as a nation: We have to give up selfishness, unite as a nation,
develop patriotism, defeat ill habits including extremism.
We have to follow the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and lead the nation the way he
lead Muslims at that time. He led the Umma and newly Muslims with his character,
honesty, helpfulness, politeness, kindness, dignity, humbleness, wisdom. I
believe that we are lacking all those qualities of our real leader and the
leader of the world forever.
The Jang newspaper written today that Mr Mumtaz Alam MNA (PPP) was witnessed
some strange activities of US Marines and steel boxes were off loaded from the
US Embassy truck in the compound of Mariot hotel before the blast. It stated
that US Marine took those boxes on level 4 and 5 of the hotel without security
check which was quite annoying to Mr Alam. Now the question is what those
marines were doing their, and what was kept in those boxes, and is the blast was
set up by those marines or their enemies or is the blast carried out by the
third party such as Iran or Moscow who may be chasing up those marines the way
we have chased their marines in their country and Afghanistan. Our country was
came under same kind of blasts when USSR were fighting in Afghanistan, You may
remember that series of blasts took place several years in Pakistan including
Ojary Camp during that period. It might be a war between agencies for the
supremacy in the region or in the Country.
If any of the above my presumption is true then ladies and gentlemen we should
now believe that the cold war started by USA and the West and fought by us has
reached to our door steps and we should be ready for another war to stop this
war and convince our friends USA and others that current chaos in our country is
the left over of their cold war and they should be sympathizer and help us undo
all the knots which our then commanders tight with them at that time rather than
attacking and killing our innocents people in the month of Ramadan. We should
also ask a question from them that why me lord you always commence war with the
Muslims in month of Ramadan as they did in Iraq and Afghanistan.
What we as a nation should do in our early convenience LAND REFORMS:
Since Pakistan came into being we did not do Land reforming likes our
neighboring country India as a result they enjoying true democracy and strength
their other institutions such as supremacy of the parliament, Judiciary, Police.
On other hand our landlord particularly in Sindh and Baluchistan remain the real
Lords and keep exploiting the people. They are invincible because they control
majority of Pakistan’s agriculture which is major part of Pakistani economy.
These landlords have become so powerful that no political party talks about the
land reforms at all these days. They are very cunning and have set up their
network by intermarriages between the families as a result they remain always in
power if one family is in opposition then the other in the government and
protect their interests and the whole Pakistan could not get rid of Wadara Shahi
till to date.
