The Mayor of Rockdale Bill Saravinovski’s Dinner Party at the Brighton Le Sands

The mayor of Rockdale City Council Bill Saravinovski hosted a Mayoral Christmas dinner on Thursday 15 Dec 2011.The dinner party was held at “The Grand Roxy” Brighton Le Sands Sydney.Mayoral Dinner was attended by Deputy Mayor James Macdonald,Councillor Joe Awada,Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane MLC and more than 200 dignities. Entree, Main and Dessert was delicious; entertainment was presented by Tony Di Marti.
In
his speech, the Host Mayor Bill Saravinovski said:
“Good evening, everyone, and welcome. I would like firstly to acknowledge the
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the traditional custodians of our
land, and to pay my respects to their Elders. I also acknowledge the people of
100 nationalities who make up our City.
I’m pleased you could be here this evening. Firstly, because it gives me an
opportunity to personally thank you and Greeting you for Charismas & New year
2012.
Our Consul is working hard for providing Facilities and development whole area
of Rockdale City Consul. I am satisfied from the all planning and projects. It
would not, and could not, happen without your support, so on behalf of the City,
heartfelt thanks to all of you.
I’m also glad you’re here tonight, so once again, many thanks to all of you, and
enjoy this evening.”
