Dear Mr. Hussain,

I read with sadness on Sada-e-Watan, the news of the passing of Mr Iftikhar Rana's mother. May she rest in peace.

I also wish to express my condolences to her family and in particular to her son Mr Rana, a dedicated human being, a hard working family man and a decent Australian citizen.

I will give notice in the Legislative Council NSW Parliament of the passing of Mr Iftikhar's mother and will formally express our condolences.

Once again, sympathies and condolences to the family, to the Australian Pakistani community and to my friend the president of the Australian Pakistani Association, on the sad news of the passing of his mother.
