A cheque handover by Sheikh Jehad Ismail (Imam Hasan Centre) and Sheikh Mansour Leghaei (Imam Husain Islamic Centre) was held at Westmead Sydney. The funds have been donated by the Muslim Business community to the Westmead Millennium Research Centre - specifically to the breast cancer unit. The Research centre in conjunction with the above centres will be organising special presentations to educate our sisters on early detection of breast cancer, which is affecting our community equally as the others. We will be advising you shortly on the dates for these presentations for the sisters in our community. It is welcoming to see Muslims contributing the community they live in.
