Nasha e Sangeet Concert on Sat 1st May at the Red Gum Function Centre Sydney
Nash Patel and the Good Guys Castle Hill presents Nasha e Sangeet 2010.The Concert will be held on Saturday, 1st May 2010 7pm at the Red Gum Function Centre, Wenthorthville Sydney.
Nasha e Sangeet is a conceptual concert that Jazba designed over 6 years ago when it did its first ever Nasha e Sangeet Event in this very same hall! The concept is based on the eternity of of music. The show has a strong focus on easy listening and hit music from all generations.In a stark contrast to most concerts,Nasha e Sangeet's format is very different.
The first half contains songs from the latest and greatest movies. After the break we come back and witness Sydney's ONLY ACOUSTIC BOLLYWOOD SESSION! For those that don't know what it means, it is basically a set of songs performed without the use of electrical instruments. Now obviously we can't get a grand piano on stage in our shows as yet, so we use a keyboard set on piano or just an acoustic guitar. The key thing is that there is NO sythesized music or man made tones in during the presentation. Just prestine vocals and gentle backing. There are usually less then half a dozen songs in this set but they come from all era's and across different genres
The last part of the show is the best of yester years music. We take a trip down memory lane and show the immortality of good music.This years annual event features, Avijit Sarkar, Puspa Jagdish, Sadiq Rehmani, Srijani Dan & Introducing Gurpreet. JAZBA is widely regarded in Sydney as a band who has best song selection & the most passionate renditions of the numbers they perform. All the time patrons get to enjoy the concert with the disruption of an MC or Comedian as the Band choses to host its own guests (i.e. you the audience). If you have never been to a JAZBA event before then this is not to be missed.
The production for the night will be done by SNSR, the guys who were the technical experts behind the Rahat Fateh Ali Khan tour.
