Nasha-e-Sangeet Musical Programme held in Sydney

The show was a smashing success for
many reasons such as but not limited to - the great artists performing i.e.
Rucha Lange, Shivangi Vyas, Dr. Sadiq Rehmani and Avijit Sarkar, the band Jazba,
Stereo National Sound Reinforcement -the production company and the back bone
for the whole event, Bombay Boys Catering company, and Ghambir Watts President
of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan for their assistance in marketing.
The event was a sell out with a cosy 270 guests such as the Indian Consulate
General and his family, Air India’s Manager for Australia & Fiji Mr. Nakul Singh
Chand and his family,President of Pakistan Australia Association Mr. Ejaz Khan, Mr. Minhas
Zulfiqar – Managing Director of Crowne Plaza Norwest, Mr. Chandru Tolani, Mr.
Shamshar Kanji, Mr. Ifthikar Rana, Mr. Gulam Ali Hasnani from Safaco Jewelers,
Mr. Aziz Maherali from NAB, Mr. Kris Lal from Concord VFR amongst many many
more.
All the songs chosen for the night were wide and varied from filmy songs to
classical hits with an Acoustic session as well. The night catered for a range
of audiences and proved to be a great night out for the whole family. The crowd
was going strong right until the last song with many chanting for repeats! Mr.
Arshad Ladha believes that between Rucha and Shivangi if “One is Lata then the
other is Asha of Sydney”.
This musical event was not profit based
production; it was purely to support our young up and coming artists to get
ahead and also a night out for the whole family. Payless World Travel Parramatta
looks forward to presenting future events.
