Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani
H.E. Jalil Abbas Jilani will address at University of Newcastle
Pakistan's
perspective on regional security and global peace will be the focus of a guest
lecture by the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Australia His Excellency Mr
Jalil Abbas Jilani, at the University of Newcastle.
Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani has been Pakistan's High Commissioner in Australia since
June 2007 and has previously held diplomatic positions in Jeddah, London,
Washington and New Delhi. A guest of the Faculty of Business and Law, Mr Jilani
holds a Bachelor degree in Law and a Masters degree in Defence and Strategic
Studies.
Staff and students are welcome to attend the lecture of Mr. Jalil Jilani. The
Pakistan’s High Commissioner lecture will be held on Wednesday 22 Oct 2008 at
SRLT1 at 2.15pm-4pm.
