Chief of Pakistan Navy Admiral Noman Bashir is on official visit of Australia
The RAN Sea Power Conference has become a significant event in the National and International Maritime and Security Communities for its discussion on topical naval and maritime strategic issues. The broad theme of the 2010 Conference is Combined and Joint Operations from the Sea and is aimed at informing how Australia’s new expeditionary capabilities may be best introduced into service and used to advantage. The Australian Government is hosting RAN Sea Power Conference 2010 and Venue of this important International Conference is Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour Sydney.
The Chief of Pakistan Navy Admiral Noman Bashir is Head of the delegation of Pakistan. In Sydney, the High Commissioner of Pakistan H.E. Fauzia Nasreen and high rank Australian officials Welcomed Pakistan’s Naval Chief Admiral Noman Bashir. The Conference & Pacific International Maritime Exposition is from Wednesday 27th Jan – Friday 29th Jan 2010.The RAN Sea Power Conference’s opening ceremony was held in Sydney on the Morning of Wed 27th Jan by Admiral Russ Crane Chief of the Royal Australian Navy. The Opening Session was attended by Mr. John Jeremy Chairman International Maritime Conference Organising Committee, Rear Admiral David Holthouse Chairman Maritime Australia, the Premier of New South Wales Kristina Keneally, Senator John Faulkner Federal Minister of Defence Australia and International delegations.
