Open Letter from Dr Sumaira to PM John Howard

Through you I convey, on behalf of every Pakistani the gratitude and thanks to the Australian Prime Minister Mr. John Howard and his nation for extending great help to Pakistan at this crucial hour of trial. Prime Minister Howard’s visit to Pakistan, probably was first ever in fifteen years by any Australian head of government, is a great gesture of goodwill, which the Pakistanis would never forget.

Taking this opportunity I would like to draw your attention, Mr. Prime Minister, to the plight of innocent Kashmiri people. They are equally suffering at the hands of Indian like they have suffered in the Oct 8 earthquake. Please help them solve this lingering issue, help stop the genocide of the innocent people and help solve the disputes between Pakistan and India.
