Leading Sydney Lawyer Pervaiz Buttar’s Mother passed away in Model Town Lahore
The Widow of Haji Muhammad Anwar Buttar passed away in
Model Town Lahore. She was the Mother of Sydney based Australia’s Leading Lawyer
Mr. Pervaiz A. Buttar Former General Secretary Pakistan Association of
Australia. She was Grandmother of Solicitor Wajiha Ahmed, Commissioner Community
Relations Commission of NSW.
Renowned Social personality Mrs Sakina Begum was also Mother of former Judge of
the Supreme Court of Pakistan Javed Buttar, Col. Jamshed Buttar and Dr. Amna
Buttar, PPP MPA from Punjab. She was laid to rest in her family Graveyard in
Lahore. A large number of people from different walks of life, including, Chief
Justice Lahore High Court, Judges, Lawyers, Journalists, High Rank Civil &
Military officers and famous Politicians attended her funeral prayers & Quran
Khawani.
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari expressed his deep sorrow and grief over
the death of mother of Amna Buttar, PPP MPA from Punjab and Javed Buttar, former
Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The President in a message to the family
prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the departed soul, and for courage to the
family to bear their loss with fortitude.
