06/09/05    A Protest letter from President of Pakistan Australia Association

Mr. Syed Zafar Hussain,
Editor-in-Chief
Sada-e-Watan Sydney

Dear Shah Sahib,

It was brought to our attention that Pakistan Consul office intends to close down visa facilities for Pakistani and foreigner wishes to visit Pakistan.
If this is true the Pakistan Australia Association protest strongly against this decision.
Pakistani community would not tolerate this decision and will do whatever in their capacity to revive these facilities.
It is shame on their part that instead of improving profit making services they are closing it.
It was also brought to our knowledge that consul general has appointed a local Australian to enhance Pakistani trade with Australia.

It does not make sense to the community, that why he decided to delegate his job to someone else. Why he makes Govt of Pakistan to pay to two people for single job.

It is shame for all the community that the beaurocrate removing the facility and delegating their job to someone else for which they are appointed.

Ejaz Khan
President Pakistan Australia Association
