Dear Community Members

As you all have already heard about the worst ever earthquake in the history of Pakistan.
Since many of our loved ones are there, we Australian based Pakistani’s are deeply affected by    this disaster.
PAFA’s Executive Committee and members want to extend their condolences and sympathies to all Pakistanis who have lost their loved ones in this disaster. In Canberra so far we know about the following affected members of our community
1- Mrs. Qureshi (Wife of Dr. Ejaz Qureshi 62557959/0409666612) has lost older sister and family members are injured in this disaster. (Inna Llilah e Waina Ilah-e-rajeoon)
2- Mr. Fayyaz’s (Ch. Azhar Javed brother in law) his mother is missing.
3- Mr. Iqbal Khan’s (02 6295 7080)relatives are injured
and to all Canberrians and Australians in other states who are affected by this disaster.

PAFA has launched an urgent appeal to help support efforts aimed at assisting with the response to earthquake devastation in Pakistan.
We Australians are generous nation and we have proved this through our donations in Tsunami and Katrina disasters. PAFA calls upon the same Australian generosity to donate and help us raise the relief fund.
