PAFA’s Committee meets H.E. Jalil Jilani and announces Pakistan Independence Day function date
On Tuesday 29th July 2008 the newly elected PAFA executive committee visited Pakistan High Commission and met His Excellency High Commissioner of Pakistan Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani & Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Tanveer Khaskheli. The High Commissioner Mr. Jalil Jilani congratulated the team on being elected in PAFA. He acknowledged the PAFA contribution and assured the executive committee that Pakistan High Commission Australia will fully support PAFA in every way to help them achieve their goals. PAFA Committee informed HC about their goals and planned events for the coming year. Pakistan Australia Friendship Association will arrange Pakistan’s Independence Day function in Canberra on Saturday 30th August 2008. The delegation of PAFA was headed by President Mr. Khawar Saleem Khan and Vice President Adnan Bukhari, Sohail Khalid Cheema Secretary, Mohammad Usman Khawaja Treasurer and Executive members Mr. Sohail Lone, Rizwan Pasha, Ameer Ahmed Awan & Shahzad Mazhar were members of the delegation.
