SAVE INNOCENT LIVES

HELP EARTHQUAKE AFFECTED CHILDREN

PAFA’s Executives emphasized on the fact that estimated 1.5 millions of young children are among the affected people. This catastrophe has left thousands orphan with no care givers around them. These children have to provide for themselves for food and shelter. Tens of thousands of children are in peril in remote earthquake-affected parts of Pakistan because of deteriorating weather, injury, and illness.

They also said that immediate steps must be taken to boost the number of children being reached if a second wave of deaths is to be averted during the harsh winter months now arriving. These steps need to be sponsored through Australian's donations.

PAFA has appealed to whole nation and Pakistani community to donate generously for all earthquake victims. With upcoming harsh weather there is very little hope for these children who have to lye under the open sky with no shelter.

Chief Minister Jon Stanhope also strengthen the appeal and called upon the people of Canberra to give generously to help the victims of the recent Pakistani earthquake, as the official death again soared up to 79000 today and the estimated number of homeless people rose to 3.0 million.
