Pakistan Cricket Team is in Sydney and preparing for second Test with Australia at MCG on Sunday 03 Jan 2010.Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf spent his New Year’s Eve at the Rootey Hill Mosque in West Sydney where hundreds of people mostly Pakistanis turned up to meet him. The cricket Test between Australia and Pakistan at the SCG commencing on January 3 will turn pink in aid of the McGrath Foundation. Pakistan leg spinner Danish Kaneria will play in Sydney Test after missing first Match due to a finger injury. It is also unlikely that middle order batsman Younis Khan would be sent to Australia for the remaining two Tests of the three match series despite captain Mohammad Younis’ requests.One of the PCB officials said again the team management is satisfied with the performance of middle order batsmen like Misbah-ul-Haq and Faisal Iqbal, and believes that the team’s set-up should not be disturbed.

Pakistan is to carry out extensive practice session at the SCG on Friday. The Pakistani Cricket Team fielded poorly in Melbourne spilling crucial catches on the first day. “There are a lot of things that went wrong in the first test but we are still positive and will go all out for a win in Sydney.”
