Two Pakistani Associations agreed to work under one umbrella

Pakistan Australia Association and Pakistan Association of Australia representing Pakistani community in their respective capacity for number of years.It was long wish of the community that both groups to form a joint platform to serve the community. Famous social and business personalities particularly Mr. Ehsan Khan form Cheetha Group of companies, Ch Shoaib Hanif and Sufi Javed has worked tirlessly to bring two associations together. Both groups are now agreed to work together under one umbrela and form new team under the leadership of Mr Ejaz Khan.
Mr Ejaz Khan informed Sada -e- Watan that he would like to see wider participation from the Pakistani groups and community in order to make this Association succesful. He thanked all the friends and personalities who are involved in any capacity to bring these two associations together. It will be wrong to assume that any one surrender or accepted conditions of others to bring these two associations together he added. It is good news for the leadership of both associations and community. Ejaz said that he would like to work together with all groups and organisations to uplift Pakistani community's profile in Australia.
Membership of the Pakistan Association of Australia has now been closed and most of the members has renewed their membership before the end of 30 April 2007. Pakistan Association of Australia now invited nominations for the various positions which will end on 23 May 2007 and AGM will be held on 27 May 2007 at 4.30 pm at Auburn.
