Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Defeats West Indies with 4 wickets in first ICC World Cup Super Six Match

ICC Women's World Cup Super Six match was played on Saturday 14th March 2009 between Pakistan Women v West Indies Women at Drummoyne Oval Sydney. Pakistan Capt. Urooj Mumtaz elected to field. According to the list Nain Abidi, Bismah Maroof, Asmavia Iqbal, Sana Mir, Urooj Mumtaz (C), Sajida Shah, Almas Akram, Javeria Khan, Qanita Jalil, Armaan Khan, Batool Fatima (W) was the players of Pakistan Team. The Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Azam Mohammed, Consul Syed Khalid Mahmood, Manager Pakistan International Airlines Australia Mr. Nadeem Jaffar, Chief Executive Officer Citilink Finance Mr. Muhammad Asif, President Pakistan Association of Australia Mr. Ejaz Khan and a large crowd of Pakistani cricket fans supported the Pakistan Women's Team at Drummoyne Oval in Sydney. As a result Pakistan won the match. Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Defeats West Indies in ICC World Cup Super Six Match with 4 Wickets. Almas Akram scored 3 wickets and was awarded Women of the match.

The second test of super 6 for Pakistan is in Bankstown oval on Monday which is Pakistan Vs Australia. Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Azam Mohammed appeals to community members to attend in large numbers.
