Pak High Commissioner Jalil Abbas Jilani meets Attorney General Philip Ruddock
The Hon Philip Ruddock MP is Federal Attorney General and the member for Berowra NSW. On the afternoon of Tuesday, 07th August 2007,the High Commissioner of Pakistan Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani called on the Attorney General Hon. Philip Ruddock at his office in Canberra.
The High Commissioner Mr. Jilani said the relations between Pakistan and Australia have strengthened as a result of the growing bilateral interaction between the top leadership of the two countries. The High Commissioner Jalil Jilani said that Pakistan is against terrorism in all its forms and fighting against it out of conviction, in its own national interest and for maintaining peace and stability across the world.
Federal Attorney General Mr. Philip Ruddock said Australia attaches importance to its relationship with Pakistan and desires to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
