Pakistani students of Australia establish a group & website. There is many students who wish to positive work for Pakistan. According to their statement to Sada-e-Watan, the reason we made this Group was because y mates got talking about how we had an absolutely awesome time last Pakistan’s  Independence day so we wanted to share this day with others.  We are sure a lot of  friends  have been to Pakistani cricket match at the SCG, MCG, or wherever, well do you remember that feeling after Pakistan won (doesn’t happen that much in Australia) or at least that vibe you got when you were all just making noise and having fun together, we had the same feeling all day on our 2007 Independence day for no reason what so ever. So after having such a great time we thought its time for a revolution, let us make some noise in 08 and get lots of Paki's together to just have a great time, but to do that we need numbers & hence me trying too get as many people together as possible before the next planning stage. So the idea is to hold major events in Sydney, Melbourne & Canberra as they have Large youth Pakistani populations, if you live in another city and think a Pakistan Independence day event can work well throw your ideas out there. since August is still a while away the events haven’t been planned in great detail, but we need numbers and other peoples input to get an idea of what the best things would be to do. Other countries with large Pakistani populations have made the 14th of August a great success lets do the same in Australia!!!
