Pakistan-Australia accord
on mutual help in farm sector
Pakistan and
Australia have inked an agreement of bilateral cooperation in agricultural
sector.
The agreement underlined learning and making best use of each other's
experiences in cultivation of seeds, packaging and grading of products. Under
the agreement both the countries would also be exchanging information on their
experiences in growing of fruits and vegetables. A four-member Australian
experts team was currently visiting Pakistan in this regard. Australian
delegation also met chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Dr.
Badruddin Soomro and swapped fruitful information about each other's experiences
in farming sectors of the two countries
