Pakistani opposition leaders refuse to meet Australian delegation |

The Australian Parliamentary delegation
cancelled its meetings with the opposition leaders, after the refusal of
Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman to meet
with it. Australian Parliamentary delegation led by Peter Lindsay, member
House of Representatives, Parliament of Australia is currently visiting
Pakistan. The meeting of the Australian Parliamentary delegation was
scheduled with government leaders as well as with opposition leaders in the
Parliament but opposition leaders including Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Raja Zafar
Ul Haq and Chaudhary Nisar refused to meet the delegation. The opposition leaders did not attend the reception of Speaker National Assembly, Chaudhry Amir Hussain in the Honour of Australian Parliamentary delegation however Chaudhary Nisar was present in this reception. |
