Pakistan A Cricket Team Crushed New Zealand in Darwin
Pakistan A has crushed New Zealand A by 60 runs in a Twenty20 Top End Cricket Series clash in Darwin today. Pakistan A did not even need the short 20 overs to bowl NZ out for 104, after setting a target of 165 in its innings. Pakistan got off to a shocking start, losing both wickets of its two openers Mohammad Hafeez and Rafatullah Mohmand in the second over for just one run each. But captain Misbah-Ul-Haq guided the team to a defendable 5-164 with a dramatic century, peppered with eight fours and five sixes, finishing unbeaten on 107. New Zealand failed to build momentum against a tight Pakistani attack, and all 10 wickets had fallen by the 17th over. Mark Orchard top scored with 24 runs, while on the Pakistani side Wasim Khan took two wickets for 15 runs and Fawad Alam also snared two, for 14.
