Pakistan Association of Australia will arrange Eid Milan Party at NSW Parliament House

will celebrate Eid Milan at the NSW Parliament House on Wednesday, 22 October
2008 at 5:00 pm at the room No 814-815. Honorable Barbra Perry Minister for
Planning has hosted this party this time. It is worth noting that this is third
time in the Australian History that Pakistani community will celebrate this end
of Ramadan in the NSW parliament. The first party was hosted by honorable John
Aquilina Speaker of the NSW at that time, currently serving as the leader of the
house. The second party was hosted by honorable Virginia Judge MP Minister for
Fair Trading.
PAA expect large number of parliamentarians to attend and then speak on the
parliament floor for the public records. President of Pakistan Association Ejaz
Khan has said in his speech delivered on the last occasion that PAA will extend
this celebrations to all other Australian Muslims settled in Australia. PAA has
invited other Muslim communities to participate this time and mark this occasion
as unity of the Australian Muslims. We are expecting huge number of Muslims from
all communities and various backgrounds to attend this year.
Entry will be free of cost but need to book with PAA official’s pre hand. PAA will serve snacks tea and coffee as per tradition.
