Australian Islamic College of Sydney celebrated his 10th year of success in conjunction with the opening ceremony of a new library, four classrooms, administration building & a big hall for indoor games and other facilities. The Opening Ceremony was held on Friday 16th March 2007 at Mount Druitt Sydney. The High Commissioner of Pakistan Mr. Babar W. Malik & Jackie Kelly MP were chief guests of the function which was attended by more than 1,000 students, parents, Govt officials, community leaders, religious scholars and diplomats.

Principal Dr. Ahmed Deria gave the details of the achievements in his welcome address. The students of the college presented different interesting presentations & cultural activities. Prominent Pakistani Dr. Ghulam Akbar Khan, Chairman Board of Directors thanked all the individuals & Organizations, Govt and staff for cooperation in the completing of this great construction project which was a total cost of $ 9 Million and 80% was donated from private people.
H.E. Mr. Babar Malik congratulated Dr. Akbar Khan & others who helped to build the Islamic College dream in reality. High Commissioner of Pakistan Mr. Babar Malik also presented an award to Dr. Akbar Khan for his great unique services to the community. Hon. Jackie Kelly Member Parliament congratulated the Board of Directors of AICS and especially to Board Chairman Dr. G A Khan & Principal Dr. Ahmed Deria for providing best education facilities in Western Sydney. She appealed to everyone for practical support to the Australian Islamic College of Sydney.
