Pakistani Cricketers Visit Bundu Khan Restaurant Sydney

Pakistani cricketers on Saturday switched off from cricket for a few hours and spent a pleasant evening together here at a North Sydney restaurant.Vice-captain Shahid Afridi led a group of players from the visiting team for the well-attended dinner at the Bundu Khan Restaurant where a few prominent personalities from the Pakistani community in Sydney were also invited.

The players who turned up at the restaurant included former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, Salman Butt, Karman Akmal, Umar Akmal, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan and Fawad Alam. Waqar Younis, the former Pakistan captain who is currently working as the team’s bowling coach, was also present.The players enjoyed sumptuous starters before helping themselves with the main course that included the restaurant’s famous goat karahi. “I’m delighted to have all these star players here,” said Kamil Khan, the restaurant’s owner, who counts most of the Pakistani cricketers and a few Indian players including Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh
among his friends.

“They always come and dine with me whenever they are in Sydney and I’m proud of their friendship,” he said.

When they were not eating, the Pakistani cricketers were busy giving away autographs to their fans besides having photographs with them. Afridi was the biggest star of the evening as most of the fans, especially the younger one, wanted to have a photo with him.
