The Prime Minister of Australia Hon. Kevin Rudd host a Reception for the Australian and Pakistan Cricket teams at Kirribilli House in Sydney on the evening 0f Saturday 02 January 2010. The Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and his wife Therese Rein hosted the function for the teams ahead of the start of the second test at the SCG on Sunday,03rd Jan. The Coach of Australian team Mr.Tim Neilsen, Coach of Pakistan Team Mr. Intikhab Alam & the High Commissioner of Pakistan Mohtarma Fauzia Nasreen also attended the function.
PRIME Minister Kevin Rudd has condemned the attack by a suicide bomber who detonated his explosives-filled vehicle in a crowd watching a volleyball game in northwest Pakistan, killing at least 88.Speaking at a reception for the Australian and Pakistan cricket teams at Kirribilli House this afternoon, Mr Kevin Rudd expressed his sympathy to the families who lost loved ones in the bombing
"This is a terrible thing where so many innocent men, women, and children have lost their lives," PM Kevin Rudd said.
"Our hearts and our thoughts go out to all those grieving families," Australia’s Prime Minister Mr Kevin Rudd said.
