Shaukat Aziz presents gift to Australian Prime Minister
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaukat Aziz presented a gift of cricket bat, Pakistan’s cricket team shirt and a cap to Australian Prime Minister John Howard at a banquet hosted by him in honour of the visiting distinguished guest and delegation.
Prime Minister Aziz said Pakistan and Australia had important relations in the field of cricket and matches between the two countries were watched with keen interest by cricket fans throughout the world.
Shaukat Aziz also mentioned the performance of renowned past cricket star Sarfraz Nawaz who was also invited to the banquet and said that performance of many Pakistani cricket players against Australian team would be remembered for ever. Australian Prime Minister John Howard thanked the Prime Minister for the gifts.
