New Islamic organisation The United Islamic Association of Australia at Prestons Sydney
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I would like to inform you that we now have for you a new Islamic organisation
that has commenced operation from a new centre at Unit 4/26 Whyalla Place
Prestons Sydney NSW .
Our organisation is known as The United Islamic Association of Australia (which
is in the process of incorporation) and will be referred to in short as the Fiji
Centre.
Aims/Objectives
Our aims and objectives are to facilitate the teaching of the Holy Quran to our
children/members and to instill amongst muslims in general the love of our
beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW). In addition to this aim we are also very
conscious in ensuring that we join hands with other non-muslim individuals and
communities in the metropolis so as to
create an environment of peace and harmony.
We are in the formative stages and with the guidance of some young and committed
brothers' and sisters' we are aiming to give back to our community a service
Inshallah that will distinguish us from the rest.
Arabic Classes
At present we have approximately 35 children who have enrolled for arabic
classes conducted by learned scholar of Islam Maulana Thanawi who is assisted by
two other qualified scholars one from Jordan and the other from Pakistan. If you
wish to enrol your children for arabic classes' please contact us immediately
and we would be very happy to assist your children. We are aiming to have the
first batch of our children graduate having completed the Al-Quran Inshallah in
12 months.
Friday Night Zikar
On Friday nights we have our weekly Zikar which is concluded with dinner and you
are most welcome to join us to gain that extra benefit from remembering Allah
and his beloved prophet (SAW).
Adult classes
After the easter long weekend we are planning to commence every Thursday night,
classes for adults who will be taught by another local scholar of Islam who has
approached us with his service. Further details will become available very soon
and you are most welcome to contact us for further information.
Other Services We Offer
In addition to the above we also offer in organising for you:
1. Islamic burial if required. A death in the family can be extremely traumatic
and it is always good to have that extra hand to help you through.
2. If you require a marriage celebrant for a civil marriage or Nikkah we are
also able to offer to you our service in organising that.
3. If you need a hand in organising a dua, Mauleed, etc, we are able to offer to
you our service in facilitating that as well.
4. If you need any labour to help you when you are organising a function we can
be there to help you provided you are able to give us some notice in advance.
5. If you need someone to do catering for you we have very good chefs amongst
our members who are able to assist you on that front.
Service Orientated
Our organisation has been put together to give back to our community a service
that has been long desired.
So come along and check us out and see what we have achieved thus far in such a
short space of time and what we can offer you.
This Friday 22 April 2011, after
Maghrib Salaat we will be having our Zikar to remember Allah Subhanawatallah in
our Halka and we invite you to come along and join us.
