Qamar Khan & Dr. DurreShahwar arranged a Post Eid ul Fitre get-to-gather Lunch in Sydney
Famous Local Pakistani Dignity Mr. Qamar Khan & Dr.
DurreShahwar Khan had invited few friends, relatives and acquaintances to
celebrate Eid get-to-gather Lunch at Rooty Hill School Hall Sydney on Sunday 4th
October 2009.It was attended over 200 guests. The Master of Ceremony was Mr.
Zahid Jamil.Hafiz Nazeerul Hasan Thanvi had recited verses of Holy Quran and
translated in English as well as in Urdu. Subsequently Molana Nizamul Huq Thanvi
was called upon for Naat-e-Rasool.
Later the Host Mr.Qamar Khan had outlined the three objectives of this Eid
gathering. In recognition to Allah swt blessings upon us, the significance of
Shukar-e-Allah swt,the importance of ourselves to live in harmony and train our
children to follow the path of Islam, since in many instances we find ourselves
helpless, therefore Dua is the only way out.Br. Qamar had concluded by declaring
the event as "the Day of Dua".
Hafiz Nazeerul Hasan had detailed the value of Dua in context with Quran &
Sunnah.Molana Thanvi did a comprehensive Dua for our unity, welfare, for those
who passed away and for those who were sick. A well prepared Lunch by Naimul
Wakeel was served followed by Pista Qulfi and Mango.
