Australian Pakistani Community & H.E. Jalil Jilani prayed for early and complete recovery of Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi
Federal Minister for Religious Affair Govt of Pakistan Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi is recovering in hospital after surviving in an assassination bid of Wed 02 Sept 2009. According to Maulana Iftikhar Hazarvi, Federal Minister is improving and may Syed Hamid Saeed Kamzi will discharge from the Federal Government Services Hospital within two days.
Hamid Saeed Kazmi also a renowned religious scholar belongs to a respected religious family of Multan and his father Allama Ahmad Saeed Kazmi an eminent religious scholar had a huge following across the country. Allama Kazmi was elected as MNA on PPPP ticket from Rahim Yar Khan district.
Top level leaders of Australian Pakistani Community, religious scholars and people from different walks of life have strongly condemned the attempt on life of Minister for Religious Affairs Allama Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi. Talking with Sada-e-Watan Sydney,they condemned this abortive attempt with the government assuring strict action against culprits and bring them to justice. The Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi was injured when unknown gunmen opened fire on his official car as he was leaving the office in Islamabad. His driver was killed and gunman was seriously injured. The Aust Pak Community leaders resolved the government’s commitment to fight and defeat such anti state elements who would not succeed in their nefarious designs and said, perpetrators of this heinous act would be taken to task.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Australia Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani strongly condemned the assassination attempt on Religious Affairs Minister Allama Hamid Saeed Kazmi. H.E. Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani prayed for early and complete recovery of Minister Kazmi.
