Famous Writer & Intellectual Rehan Alavi’s CD Released in Australia
Rehan Alavi is SBS Radio
Executive Producer. Most of the readers of Sada-e-Watan must have listened his
voice on SBS Radio Urdu language Sunday 10am program. Rehan Alavi’s “Sirf Ek
Minute” is one of his most popular pieces of writings gone on air. This CD is
based on selection of “Sirf Ek Minute” and his poetries. This CD is hosted by
famous Sydney personality, Shahnaz Hyder and narrated by legend Pakistani TV
actress and pride of performance winner Uzma Gilani with Rehan Alavi. Entire
work done for this project is voluntary. All money that will raise from sale of
this CD will be given to Fred Hollows Foundation-Australia.
Fred Hallows Foundation Australia is working in Asian Subcontinent
(India/Pakistan), especially in remote Northern and rural areas. These are the
regions where access is difficult and basic immunities are always considered a
