SAMAA (South Asian Muslim Association of Australia) is organizing SENIOR CITIZENS EID GET TOGETHER
Date: SUNDAY 14 October 2007 at 11 AM till 3 PM

On this occasion we will also launch South Asian Muslim Association of Australia Inc. One of the main objectives of SAMAA is to cater for the needs of elderly Muslims of the subcontinent origin. We need volunteers in various areas to provide some care to elderly e.g. arrange weekend meetings of them, transport them to mosques for Friday prayers, help them in day to day shopping, take them to doctor etc. In long run, we aim to establish a retirement village facility. Please come with your suggestions and offers of your voluntary contribution.
All men and women of age 60 and over are requested to attend. Younger people including children can accompany them. Those who are willing to do some voluntary work towards this noble deed are also welcome. Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
Donation is $15 per head. Children under 10 will be charged $10 per head.
