Government of Australia officially invited Shaukat Aziz
Last Friday on the Gold
Coast, the senior officials of the Asia-Pacific Economic Coperation Forum met
to discuss the agenda for next year's APEC leader summit in Sydney. The
actual date of this Head of State meeting is not finalised yet but it will be in
September next year, probably just before a federal election of Australia.
The host country Australia is sending official invitations to the 21 global
member countries. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz has already
received his invitation and diplomatic sources have confirmed to Sada-e-Watan
that PM Shaukat Aziz will be head of the Pakistani delegation.
