Singapore Airlines stop flying to Pakistan due to security concerns
Singapore Airlines
has decided to roll back its Pakistan operation. Singapore Airlines has informed
the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan & overseas Travel Agents that it will
stop the 3 flights a week from Singapore to Lahore and Karachi from Wednesday
17th February 2010.Most of Pakistanis not happy from this news. Few top Leaders
of Australian Pakistani Community saying that it is “very sad” that Singapore
Airlines is stopping flying to Pakistan. According to one Travel Agent of
Sydney, Singapore Airlines services to Pakistan are not profitable and there is
no any security related threat to any foreign Airlines.
