Supreme Court of Pakistan Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Chief Justice of
Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that the dispensation of justice to
the people was not only the responsibility of the judiciary, but the
administration and legislature’s also and added that history was witness to
nations perishing, where the people in the society were deprived of justice.
Addressing a special function in Lahore for the 50th anniversary celebrations
Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Chief Justice urged on making efforts for the
establishment of such a society, where each individual enjoys the political,
economic, religious and social rights and justice was made available without any
discrimination. Evolving a society based on justice was vital for good
governance, he emphasized.
Famous Pakistani Solicitor of Sydney Mr. Pervaiz Buttar was invited in the
function of Supreme Court. After attending the function Mr. Buttar came back to
Australia and he provided Sada-e-Watan the details for the 50th
anniversary Supreme Court of Pakistan.
