Diabetes Awareness & Fundraising Event in Wollongong on
Sunday, 2nd February 2025 was a remarkable success! Thanks to the generosity of
our supporters, we raised vital funds for:
Treatment of Type-1 & Type-2 Diabetes Patients
Dialysis Treatment for those in need
Hospital on Wheels Project
Construction of TDC Sahiwal – Phase 1
The event commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Sheikh
Ahmad Nasar, followed by an engaging program led by our esteemed Masters of
Ceremony, Mr. Hussein Salem & Ms. Sayda Fareeha.
Dr. Asrar Khan, President of TDC Australia,
delivered the welcome speech, followed by an inspiring talk from Mr. Haroon
Azam, Vice President of TDC Australia, who provided insights into our journey
and latest updates.

The event continued with the Motivational Talk by Shiekh
Nasim Abdi. The event’s highlight was an enlightening talk by Professor Dr
Javed Iqbal, who shared valuable insights on Diabetes Awareness &
Parenting.
The excitement continued with auctions & pledges, passionately led by Mr.
Mustafa Chaudhry (Patron of TDC Australia), Mr. Hussein
Salem, and Mr. Naeem Haq.
A heartfelt Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. Rukhshanda Zaman, followed by
a memorable photo session .
