Mrs. Farhat Iqbal's Poetry book
A Book Launch function for
Mrs Farhat Iqbal's first Poetry Collection "Tanhai Ke Makan Mein" was held on
Saturday 17 December 2005 at Hilda & Davis Senior Citizens Centre, Liverpool,
Sydney. Mr. Ashraf Shad was the Guest of Honour for the evening. The
speakers included Ms. Kumud Mirani SBS Radio Sydney, Mr. Ashraf Shad and
Mr. Om Krishan Rahat. Mrs. Farhat Iqbal recited her Kalam and was very much
appreciated by the audience. The function was attended by about 100 guests.

Sahib spoke on the poetry and Mrs Kumud Merani addresses the audience about the
women and the poetry.
