Urdu Forum Australia Inc.International Urdu Mushaira 2011 and Dinner

Dr Shabbir Haider, Director / Chairperson, Urdu Forum Australia Inc and Adviser to the Sada-e-Watan Sydney has informed that the date and venue for the International Urdu Mushaira 2011 has changed. Dr Sahib has requested all patrons to note that the International Urdu Mushaira and Dinner will now be held on:

    Saturday  15 October 2011 at 7.00pm:
    at Hamaliya Restaurant & Function Hall, 5 Good Street, Granville (Sydney)

The Dinner will be held at 7.00pm and Mushaira will start at 8.00pm. The Mushaira ticket will include Dinner and refreshments. You may recall that Urdu Forum has invited renowned Urdu poets from overseas and they have confirmed their availability for this popular literary and cultural event. Urdu Forum is currently in the process of making necessary travel arrangements. Dr Shabbir Sahib said that we will provide regular updates to our members and patrons. Urdu Forum holds its monthly literary sittings regularly where members have the opportunity to present their poetry and fiction for discussion and critical review.
