New High Commissioner of Pakistan Syed Ibne Abbas has Arrived in New Zealand

The New High Commissioner of Pakistan for New Zealand His Excellency Syed Ibne Abbas has arrived in Wellington on Saturday 16th January. Prior to his present appointment he was serving as Consul General of Pakistan in Los Angeles. Syed Ibne Abbas is belonging from respectable family of Multan. He is Son of Syed Ghazanfar Abbas. The Editor in-Chief of Sada-e-Watan Syed Zafar Hussain, Mrs. Nafisa Zafar and Editorial Board of the Sada-e-Watan & Ozifourm would like to congratulates Syed Ibne Abbas Shah Sahib and Mrs. Sadaf Ibne Abbas for his Promotion as a High Commissioner of Pakistan in New Zealand. We hope that as a New envoy Syed Ibne Abbas work hard for further strengthening the political, economic and trade relations between Pakistan and New Zealand. Syed Ibne Abbas was very popular diplomat in Australia & USA because his doors always open for Community. We hope that H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas will use his diplomatic skills for the promoting Pakistan New Zealand Friendship & keep in touch with all Pakistani community living in New Zealand.
Syed Ibne Abbas
Syed Ibne Abbas joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1983 and held various diplomatic assignments at the Pakistan Missions abroad: Berne (1989-1992), Geneva (1992-1994), Canberra (1998-2001) and New Delhi (2001-2004). He also worked at the Headquarters as Director and Desk Officer, and served as Deputy Secretary, Prime Minister's Secretariat (1995-1997). Syed Ibne Abbas joined the Consulate General of Pakistan Los Angeles in 2006. He also served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad as Director General (2004-2006).
Syed Ibne Abbas has represented Pakistan and led delegations on several occasions on bilateral and multilateral forums. He attended the 1997 and 2006 UN General Assembly sessions as a Pakistan delegate. Mr. Ibne Abbas represented Pakistan at the Conference on Disarmament and attended meetings of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) and Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC). Now Ministry of Foreign Affairs Government of Pakistan Promoted Syed Ibne Abbas and appoint him High Commissioner of Pakistan in New Zealand.
