New High Commissioner of Pakistan Abdul Malik Abdullah has arrived in Australia

The New High Commissioner of Pakistan for Australia His Excellency Mr. Abdul Malik Abdullah has arrived in Canberra. A Respectable senior career diplomat His Excellency Mr. Abdul Malik Abdullah has arrived in Australia on the evening of Saturday 02 July 2011. The Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr. Azam Mohammed Welcomes him & his family at the VIP Lounge of Sydney International airport.

H.E. Abdul Malik Abdullah traveled to Canberra on Sunday 03 July 2011. Prior to his present appointment Abdul Malik Abdullah was serving at the Prime Minister of Pakistan's Secretariat Islamabad. He was Additional Secretary to the PM of Pakistan for the Foreign & Social Sector Affairs (FSA) wing.

The High Commissioner His Excellency Mr. Abdul Malik Abdullah will present soon his credentials to the Governor General of Australia. Behalf of Australian Pakistani Community, Sada-e-Watan Sydney would like to Welcome New High Commissioner of Pakistan Abdul Malik Abdullah. We wish him well and assured him of our fullest cooperation.

We hope that Mr. Abdul Malik Abdullah as a New envoy work hard for further strengthening the political, economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Australia. We hope that H.E. Abdul Malik Abdullah will use his diplomatic skills for the promoting Pakistan Australia Friendship & keep in touch with all Pakistani community living in Australia.

     

                             CURRICULUM VITAE OF MR. ABDUL MALIK ABDULLAH

 o   Born in April 20th, 1954. Holds Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a Post Graduate diploma in    Business Administration.  

  o   Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in April 1980.

 o   Served at the Headquarters as Section Officer (1982) and Director (1989-1992 & 2000-2002).

  o   Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad. Tokyo (1984-1989), Washington  (1992-1995) and Tokyo (1995-2000).

 o   Served as Consul General of Pakistan in Frankfurt, Germany from 2002-2005.

 o   Served as Ambassador of Pakistan to Senegal (2005-2008).

 o   Served as Additional Secretary for Foreign and Social Sector Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat from July 2008 to June 2011.

 o   He is married and has a son and a daughter.
