Excellent & Well done in Canberra: Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Beat Sri Lanka

Pakistan Women Cricket team who is on a tour of Australia played its second match with Sri Lanka today at Manuka Oval Canberra and won the match. The High Commissioner for Pakistan H.E. Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani witnessed the match along with a large Pakistani community in Canberra. After winning the toss Pakistani team decided to bat and scored 161 runs in 50 overs. In the second half Sri Lankan team was all out with 104 runs. Pakistani bowler Miss Qanita Jalil was Woman of the Match who got four wickets. The Woman of the Match award was dedicated to the Shuhada-i-Lahore (the Policemen who sacrificed their lives in terrorist attack while saving the guest Sri Lankan Team).
