World XI and Australia match income for Pak quake victims

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to donate Rs. 30 million in the President’s Earthquake Relief Fund in a bid to help Pakistan in the current time of crisis. International Cricket Council had taken the decision in its recent meeting held in Australia.

The ICC has also decided that the second day (October 15) proceeds of the six-day Test to be played between World XI and Australia at Sydney will also go to the President’s Relief Fund. PCB Chairman Shahyar Khan was present in this meeting and he personally thanked the ICC for the assistance. PCB official said Cricket Australia (CA) will also hold a live telethon on the same day to raise funds, which will also be contributed to the same relief fund.
